Taco Bell officials said an employee at an Ohio franchise was fired after a viral photo on social media showed him with his hand down the back of his pants. The picture, which was posted to Taco Bell's official Facebook page by concerned customers, shows an employee at a Sandusky, Ohio, location with his left hand down the back of his pants -- apparently inside his underwear. The Erie County Health Department said officials visited the store after a complaint about the photo was lodged with the department Monday. Taco Bell released a statement in response to the controversial photo.

"This is completely unacceptable. Our franchisee took immediate action and has terminated the employee and retrained the entire staff. We want customers to know that the person in …

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .Burglars hit Verizon store, only steal fake phones
http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2015/09/17/Burglars-hit-Verizon-store-only-steal-fake-phones/6411442506847/?spt=sec&or=on
Police in Ohio's capital said thieves broke into a Verizon store, but the only items they managed to steal were fake phones used as display pieces. Columbus police said the early Wednesday burglary at the store caused significant damage to the store, but the only items stolen were fake phones installed for display after the store was previously targeted by thieves. Police said the culprits used large rocks to break the glass back door of the shop and they cut or ripped the phony cellphones from display areas. Investigators said the store's real phones are locked in a vault by employees every night.

Phoebe and I went to the Salvation Army yesterday for their Tools For Life program. This helps homeless, immigrants and those getting out of jail or dealing with substance issues a second chance at life, whether it's getting a job or going back to school. We teach them how to be safer online. There was one young woman who had a little girl of about 3 or 4 (a real cutie, too). She said she had an anxiety problem and had to sit in the very back of the room. I told her it was no problem. As I went through the presentation, she moved up a row. When we took a break and I brought Phoebe in, she had moved to the front row. We do a game based on Jeopardy where the questions are about what I spoke about and I give out prizes to the winners. She was raising her hand, answering correctly and having a grand time. Afterwards, the woman who has me come do this every two months told me she had never seen the young lady so interactive before in other classes. She said it was like she came right o…

Siri, Apple's virtual assistant, interrupted a reporter's Iran question at a White House press briefing to tell him she wasn't "sure what you want me to change." Press Secretary Josh Earnest was fielding a question from a reporter Thursday about whether President Barack Obama was "upset" about the lack of Republican support for the Iran nuclear deal when the tell-tale sound of Siri's question acknowledgment tone interrupted the man. "Sorry, I'm not sure what you want me to change," the digital voice said. The interruption prompted laughter from Earnest and reporters, with one person in attendance noting: "That was on time."

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .Kansas farmer goes drone fishing in viral video
http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2015/09/01/Kansas-farmer-goes-drone-fishing-in-viral-video/5941441121396/?spt=sec&or=on
A Kansas farmer shared video showing how he put his aerial drone to use as a long-range fishing pole -- and successfully caught a fish. Derek Klingenberg, who previously made viral waves with videos showing him playing trombone for his cows and using his truck to herd the cattle into "cow art," posted a video to YouTube showing how he attached a baited piece of fishing line to his drone and sent it out over the water. The video shows Klingenberg steer the drone sharply upward when his bobber indicates there's a fish on the line. The drone pulls the line out of the water, revealing a fish on the hook. The video then cuts to show the drone camera's persp…
