A Polish couple in Portugal fell off the edge of a cliff while they were posing for a selfie. The couple was visiting the cliffs of Cabo da Roca with their children when they fell to their deaths, the Independent reported. The tragic accident occurred on Saturday, but emergency workers were not able to recover the bodies until Sunday because poor weather conditions impeded their search. A Spanish couple alerted authorities about what had happened after witnessing the fatal fall. The children, ages 5 and 6, are currently being cared for by Polish diplomats. Family members have been alerted and will be traveling to Portugal to deal with situation.

When Canadian teen Amanda Todd committed suicide after intimate photos of her were circulated online, the media referred to the circumstances as a case of cyberbullying. But according to a Vancouver-based women’s advocacy group, online harassment has a “hugely disproportionate impact on women and girls” and needs to be called what it is: cyber misogyny.

Trisha Prabhu, 13, of Illinois, created her project to test the prevalence of online bullying after making them take a minute to think twice about what they are about to post. Her theory was that younger brains are less developed than an adult’s, leading to more impulsive posting on social media.
