An apparent peeping Tom in Norway tripped himself up by accidentally photographing himself in a school shower room, police said.
The teenager was caught in the act of mounting a hidden camera in the girls' shower by accidentally taking his own picture in the process.'
"As he pressed the star button to start recording, he snapped a picture of himself," a lawyer for the police in Skien told the newspaper VG. "We have a picture of part of his face."
TheLocal.no said Sunday the camera was discovered last week with the suspect's image on the hard drive. Police have still have not identified the suspect but assume he is a student at the school and have asked fellow students to help identify him.

A police officer in the Alaskan village of Kobuk has been hit with felony charges of soliciting, first- and second-degree child sexual abuse as an authority figure, and evidence tampering after he allegedly sent at least 20 text messages to a 12-year-old girl requesting sex while he was drunk and on duty. The officer, 22-year-old Leon Outwater, allegedly sent the messages from a village-owned cellphone during a 24-hour period between Nov. 16 and 17.

Travis Beard, 23, of Siloam Springs, was taken into custody by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Division, officials said.

OK, so let us start with the facts. A total of 2,324 emails came in following my post about guns, so far. I responded to every single one of them. This was in the wake of my essay about developing some sort of rational, peaceful, non-confiscatory way of removing guns from the hands of criminals and reducing the drain on our national resources. And, as one concerned about national defense, that is how I think about the issue.

Last Monday Harvard sophomore Eldo Kim emailed a bomb threat to authorities at Harvard, including the Harvard University police department and the daily newspaper, The Crimson. His intent was to avoid a 9:00 a.m. exam, and while he certainly did, it was apparently very easy to track down the source of the emails once the immediate crisis was over.

A couple said they received death threats after reporting problems with a black bear that was captured and then euthanized Thursday by Nevada wildlife officials. Richard and Adrienne Evans said they filed a report with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office on Thursday after receiving numerous threats and harassing messages by telephone and email.
