Happy B-Day to me!

Celebrating my birthday a day early with a matinee at the movies - "Paranormal Activity," then a late lunch at a restaurant near the ocean. Tomorrow night will be drinks at our fave restaurant when Chris gets home from work. Yay!

Our Marlboro Ranch/Crazy Mountain Ranch Adventure - June 28-July 1, 2013

Yes, there really is a Marlboro Ranch. And yes, it's that Marlboro. My husband smokes their cigarettes, much less than he did when he first met me. He told me about the Marlboro web site, so I registered him and me and began entering their contests. Over the years we have won a boatload of things, from ashtrays to horseshoes to customized tee shirts and pint glasses and a NASCAR Hot Laps Experience (we got to ride shotgun around the track and drifting in brand new Mustangs - the cars, not the horses). I began entering us every day to possibly win a trip to the Marlboro Ranch, which always seemed like a fantasy place to me. Well, we won in May 2013. A Fedex envelope came two days after the "You won" notification on their web site, with documents for us to sign. They would be paying for everything, from travel to food and lodging and more. Troubling web site - Datingpsychos.com

There is a web site called Dating Psychos that really should be shut down. I have been working with a victim who dated this guy, stopped dating him and he just couldn't deal with it. He's already put up a few, I got them taken down, he called Animal Control where she lives and claimed she abused her dogs - the dogs were taken away and were going to be euthanized, but she convinced Animal Control that this guy was out to ruin her life. This guy has also called the Social Security Administration on her claiming she's a prostitute trying to get them to investigate her and some other things. It got so bad that she tried to commit suicide a week ago. I was finally able to talk to an FBI agent in the state where the victim lives and this agent is appalled by this web site. She is going to find an agent in the bureau closest to the victim, but now the cyberstalker has put up a new profile on the Dating Psychos web site that lists her home address, home phone number, photo and mor...
