I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .Gotta love stupid criminals Dude! NY man's tossed pot lands on police cruiser http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110622/ap_ on_fe_st/us_pot_lands_on_cop_car State police say a man's effort to ditch some drugs from a moving car in western New York didn't exactly go as planned. Troopers with the state police Thruway detail say 20-year-old Sean Schmidt was standing with his upper body sticking out the sunroof of a vehicle traveling on Interstate 190 in Buffalo late Monday night. When a trooper following in a state police cruiser activated the car lights to pull the other vehicle over, Schmidt threw a small bag of marijuana, which landed on the hood of the trooper's car. Troopers say Schmidt was ticketed for marijuana possession and not wearing a seatbelt. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit WHOA on the web at http://www.haltabuse.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ...

Authorities said 39-year-old James Edward Russell took off from the Washington state penitentiary Tuesday morning. Early the next day, Russell still wearing his prison uniform went to the cabin asking to use the phone, said Department of Corrections spokesman Chad Lewis on Thursday. After a scuffle, Russell ran off again, Lewis said. The guard, whose name was being withheld by authorities, reported the incident and Russell was caught a few hours later. He had been serving time for forgery and theft. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit WHOA on the web at http://w...

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .Whoopsie Box labeled `grandma's urn' left at Goodwill store http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110610/ap_ on_fe_st/us_odd_grandma_s_ashes State police in Michigan are trying to find who left what appear to be a grandmother's cremated remains in an urn at a Goodwill store near Flint. Fenton Goodwill store manager Allen Ryckman says "it's got to be the No. 1 or No. 2 weirdest item" the store has ever received. He says it appears to have come from a house that was cleaned out. The Flint Journal says store workers found the box just before Easter. The box has the label "grandma's urn." The cream-colored urn is about 10 inches tall and weighs about 10 pounds. It doesn't have any identifying marks or label. The Michigan State Police Flint post asks anyone with information to call. Anyone with information may contact the Flint post at 810-732-1111. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *...

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .What a bunch of croc U.S. police shoot fake alligator http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110603/od_ nm/us_shooting_alligator_fake Police in a suburb in the state of Missouri recently encountered one tough alligator -- or so they thought. Officers in Independence, a Kansas City suburb, responded to a call on a Saturday evening about a large alligator lurking on the embankment of a pond, police spokesman Tom Gentry said Thursday. An officer called a state conservation agent, who advised him to shoot the alligator because there was little that conservation officials could do at that time, Gentry said. As instructed an officer shot the alligator, not once but twice, but both times the bullets bounced off -- because the alligator was made of cement. The property owner told police later that he placed the ornamental gator by the pond to keep children away. But residents had little to fear. "There are no alligators around here, we are too far north, i...
