Busy, busy, busy!

Did the radio show on Sunday with the psychic. He did a short reading of me at the end and the two things he said matched the tarot card psychic EXACTLY. One was that I needed to pay attention to my dreams, the other I don't want to post just yet. If it comes true, I am going to be floored.

Yesterday so many things happened: I was interviewed for an article about GPS stalking for a NJ newspaper. The Chief of Staff of the NJ General Assembly sent me a letter asking for help with a law they were introducing. I called him, we talked, I emailed some of the cyberstalking laws I've helped pass and they are going to try to get me to NJ to testify in person in November, when the legislature is back in session.

A victim wants me to be an expert witness for her case. Which means either a video deposition or actually traveling to where the court case is heard.

I'm going to be teaching, four, count 'em, four classes for a local Internet cafe. One about buying/selling on eBay, on about opening an account with Yahoo and taking advantage of all that Yahoo offers, one about social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook and the last about online dating. Those start on Mondays in October. If there is a big response, I'll teach twice a week through the winter. I'll post more when I have a firm schedule.

I got another booking, this one locally, for September. So I need one more to have the month booked up. Kents Hill School already booked me for September 22nd. Woo-hoo!

I drove down to Brookline (next to Boston) this afternoon to do a TV interview for CNN about that GPS stalking story. I hate driving to Boston. I always cross myself when I go over the NH/Mass border, ha ha. I got lost, had to call twice when I got to Kenmore Square for directions, finally made it. Filming took a half hour, the producer was great and I left him a book and my card for future stories. Crossing my fingers! I don't know when the story will air yet, but will post when I find out.

I am exhausted. But it's beautiful out and I'm going to take the dogs to the store to get some burgers or something to cook on the grill, relax with some wine and sit on the deck.

Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend for lunch at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, which should be nice and relaxing.

They radio show host I was just interviewed for IMd me yesterday. I just happened to be in my office checking my email when his IM popped up. He said he wanted to do a longer, private reading because his "spirits" are telling him there is much more to tell me. So that reading is Thursday morning at 1030 am. Should be interesting. I wonder if he'll say more of the same things the tarot card psychic said?

I watched "A Good Year" with Russell Crowe. I wasn't sure I'd like it. The story is that he's a wanker of a stockbroker who inherits a vineyard in France from a beloved uncle he hasn't seen in 10 years. His life unravels and he's forced to stay at the vineyard, meets and falls in love with a local woman in less than a week, and his life is transformed. Hey, it happens in the movies. You know it can happen in real life. When Chris and I met, it was fast, fast, fast. We just knew how we felt about each other right away. He proposed to me four months after meeting me. We were married for almost 20 years. So you do the math. I know that will happen to me again with someone. I hope it does. I miss not having someone around. And if it happens fast again, so what? Sometimes it's just like that.

It's never a dull moment around here, that's for sure.

It's great to hear an American use the word wanker right.

Thank you! You're the second person who has told me that. Like I told them, I'm not your average American, LOL.
