Hello, I found this link by going to National Stalking Society and trying to find anything on this. I have been continually stalked since July of 2007 in Houston,Tx. I left because the man I was involved with there kept harassing me. This was after I broke it off in 2006. At first, it was subtle then kept getting worse. He had his friends and ladyfriends (past) he was into swinging and having as much women in his life as possible. Iam in Atlanta, Ga now because of the following. His friends think it is funny; they would pass my vehicle laughing and even got in front of my car and waved in their rearview mirror at me. This happened here in Ga too. It's the same pattern but the only difference is I'm in Ga now. This man is so enraged that I left the relationship I left him a voice mail and told him in it I felt sorry for him and for the way he treated women. He is retired but it seems he has the financial means to "get me back" that is his most evil behavoir-vindictiveness. I and my mom did make a police report because we saw two of these individuals shortly after I got to Atlanta. The police here are not familiar with this kind of thing. The manpower is not there it seems to handle each group stalking case. They did take the report. It is still continuing. I don't see how with the gas prices the way they are this man is doing this unless its illegal. What do you think? I am documenting all this. It is not going to stop on its own. My mother is a retired teacher and does not work. Iam not working because my mom thinks it's not safe because of the stalking. Aren't lawyers expected for you to pay? Has anyone else had a problem with group stalking and resolved it? Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, D Baugh

I am so sorry to hear this is happening to you. Offline stalking is horrible. Have you tried the National Center for Victims of Crime Stalking Resource Center at http://www.ncvc.org/src/Main.aspx? They have wonderful resources and a number to call for help, 1-800-FYI-CALL, M-F 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM EST, or e-mail gethelp@ncvc.org

I have been stalked since last October. Have been denied two protective orders and yet that's what the police ALWAYS asked for.
He kept breaking into my house, trespassing, following, watching. I was able to file criminal charges, yet he persists. Court date is in Aug. I know he may get off, judges & police are apathetic, I have to be hurt or further violated for action to be taken. It's so sad. The DA is understanding but I have to do so much work documenting etc. I am hoping for a restrainting order if nothing else. The positive side is that I know my neighbors now, they even call the police on behalf but the police won't come out ..go figure. But the "stalker" is not coming around my house as much now. I have witnesses, documentation, and hopefully a good DA. My ex boyfriend is a bully, controlling and mentally ill. I found out too late that he had been in jail for 6 months for stalking.etc. I do not believe that he will stop on his own. I think only jail will do it but it may not happen........

Yes, there really is a Marlboro Ranch. And yes, it's that Marlboro. My husband smokes their cigarettes, much less than he did when he first met me. He told me about the Marlboro web site, so I registered him and me and began entering their contests. Over the years we have won a boatload of things, from ashtrays to horseshoes to customized tee shirts and pint glasses and a NASCAR Hot Laps Experience (we got to ride shotgun around the track and drifting in brand new Mustangs - the cars, not the horses). I began entering us every day to possibly win a trip to the Marlboro Ranch, which always seemed like a fantasy place to me. Well, we won in May 2013. A Fedex envelope came two days after the "You won" notification on their web site, with documents for us to sign. They would be paying for everything, from travel to food and lodging and more. Craigslist scammers are using texts these days to scam you. If you put in your cell phone number to allow calls or texts for potential buyers, be aware that Craigslist does not send a text link for questions from this so-called buyer. This is the second time I have received a text from someone with the message: New Craigslist Buyer Message Read using this: http://question3300.do.am/account_log_in.html I had a new one yesterday, which is posted below. Smart scammer made it personal, used a name and I checked the phone number - it was indeed from Florida. But I smelled a scam and went along with it until my zinger at the end. I haven't heard from him since, LOL. BEWARE of these scams via text!
